1931 Cord

This is a 1931 Cord L-29 Cabriolet. It was the first mass produce front wheel drive car. I think it was the coolest car in the Museum.

1917 Ford

This is Ford Model T Snow Flyer. This was used to plow snow in Alaska. See the picture of the car driving thur snow drift.

1934 Offenhauser

Thursday we made a trip to Fairbanks and while we were there we visited an Antique Car Museum. One of the cars was this 1934 Offenhauser midge. It is like the one Dennis's dad use to race. More pictures to come later.

Dall Sheep

Today we took a hike up the Savage River Trail hoping to see Dall Sheep. We did not think we were going to be this lucky. When we topped the ridge, there were 5 male Dall Sheep right there. We sat for an hour or more and just watched them eat. This was a very exciting day and well worth the hike to the top of the ridge.

Dual purpose RV

We know we have had lots of rain this summer in Denali but we did not think we had this much rain. I guess this is the newest dual purpose RV. No kidding this set of guest camp in Riley Creek in this boat. It is one of the strangest things we have ever see.

Suspension bridge in July

This is how far they had gotten 3 days ago. Moving right along they should be finished by August and we will walk the trail and take more pics.
